Passau
1st dayPassau
Individual travel to Passau. Depending on your time of arrival you have the chance to visit the city of three rivers, also called Venice of Germany. While strolling through historical downtown you shouldn`t miss to listen to an organ concert on the largest church-organ of the world in Passau`s cathedral (daily 12 a.m. except sundays and holidays). Lodging in Passau including parking facility for your car.
Coil of Danube River
2nd day Passau – Coil of Danube River about 50km
Pick up our multiple-speed touring bicycles. In case you didn`t have time to visit Passau the day before, you still have the chance to do so thanks to the short route of this day. Bike down the Danube through varying landscapes to the famous Danube Rivercoil at Schlögen, and enjoy amidst these gorgeous environs the austrian hospitality in a luxury hotel.

Linz
3rd day Danube Rivercoil – Linz about 60km
Today`s tour leads you through the romantique villages of Aschach and Ottensheim along the Danube, through the Mühlviertel (district) with ist many fortresses to Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. Since your hotel is located downtown Linz you`ll find enough time to cruise the city, to go shopping or to visit the casino. From mount Pöstlinger (mountain railway) you have a wonderful view over Linz and also the chance to look into the world of fairy tales while riding on a pit railway (for children). In your hotel you will get information about current cultural events.
Nibelungengau
4th day Linz – Nibelungengau about 70km
The trail leads you via Mauthausen through Marchland, whose pastures and typical riversides invite you more than once to take a rest or a swim in the cool waters of the Danube River, into the town of Grein. In this golden skippertown you have the opportunity to visit f.ex. the castle Greinsberg, the Museum of Navigation or the Rokoko theatre. You stay overnight in Grein or in the roman town Ybbs.

Dürnstein
5th day Nibelungengau - Krems about 80km
The fifth day takes you through the Nibelungengau passing Maria Taferl, a place of pilgrimage situated high above the Danube valley, to Melk. You should take your time to have a look at the baroque Benedictian monastery of Melk, or to simply relax having a glass of wine in one of those snug vineyard taverns of the Wachau, a district that takes ist start from here. This part of the route, probably the most scenic, takes you through the wine towns Spitz and Dürnstein to Krems, where you will stay overnight. Don`t miss to stroll through the charming alleys and to relish the beauty of the surrounding landscape with all its vineyards and apricot groves.
Vienna Prater
6th day Krems – Vienna about 80km
The last part of your tour leads you through the Tullner basin, passing the monastery Göttweig, through Tulln, the town of flowers, and Klosterneuburg with ist famous altar of Verdun, to your destination Vienna. Since your hotel is located downtown Vienna you will be able to get to know `Vienna at night`, to have a look at the Prater (Ferris wheel) and to let the day come to an easy end in Grinzing.
7th day departure
Perhaps you would like to go on a sightseeing tour, or you visit the cathedral (Stephansdom) and the Hofgarten, or you take the chance to drive with a Fiaker on a carriage through Vienna. By all means should you visit one of the world-renowned viennese coffee shops before you start back home.
